La Tropa Vallenata

Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Tropa Vallenata rose to prominence in 1986 as pioneers of the cumbia genre. Their breakthrough came with the 1996 album "Los Caminos de la Vida," which topped the U.S. Latin charts. Subsequent releases like "Mi Cafetal" in 1998 and "Cada Latido Cada Ti Quiero" in 1999 further solidified their presence. The band's diverse sound was showcased in the eclectic "Fantasia 666," released in early 2001, marking another milestone in their career.
