Biography

Formed in 2000 in Madrid, Spain, La Quinta Estación gained initial recognition in Latin America before achieving international success. The band, consisting of vocalist Natalia Jiménez, guitarist Ángel Reyero, and bassist Pablo Domínguez, relocated to Mexico following the release of their debut album, Primera Toma, in 2002. Their breakthrough came with the release of their second album, Flores de Alquiler in 2004, which produced hits such as "El Sol No Regresa" and "Daría."

Following the success of Flores de Alquiler, La Quinta Estaci├│n continued to thrive with subsequent releases, including El Mundo Se Equivoca in 2006, which earned critical acclaim and a Latin Grammy Award. The band's live performances were also well-received, as showcased in their CD/DVD release, Directo Desde Madrid. After winning a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album in 2010 with Sin Frenos, the band announced a hiatus in late 2010 to pursue individual projects. They released a compilation album, Recuerdame Con Cartas y Algo Mas... Los Exitos, in 2012.
