La Makina

La Mákina, a Dominican merengue group, was formed by Fernando Colon and Orlando Santana, who both had notable backgrounds in the music industry. Santana's significant contributions to the group, including writing most of their debut album and producing hit single "La Reina," propelled La Mákina to success within the merengue genre. The group followed up with their second album, Los Reyes del Ritmo, in October 1997, solidifying their presence in the music scene.
