Based in Dallas, Texas, La Energía Norteña is a regional Mexican group known for their romantic norteño music featuring accordion and saxophone. Formed in 2010, they gained recognition after winning a local talent contest and releasing their debut single "Te Recordare" on Fonovisia's Azteca Records. The group continued to build their fan base through live performances, singles, and music videos, leading to the release of their albums Sin Restricciones in 2013 and Cruzando Territorio in 2014, which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums charts.
In 2015, La Energía Norteña released the pre-release single "Me Dejaste Solo," followed by the album El Rompecabezas, which earned them a Latin Grammy nomination and peaked at number two on the Mexican Regional Albums charts. The band maintained an intense touring schedule and released the album No Hay Quinto Malo in 2016. Despite facing challenges like equipment theft, the group persevered and continued to captivate audiences with their music, earning chart success and critical acclaim along the way.
