La Coka Nostra is a hip-hop supergroup formed in 2005, consisting of members from House of Pain, Non Phixion, Special Teamz, and solo artist Big Left. They released their debut album, A Brand You Can Trust, in 2009, featuring collaborations with artists like Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg, and Immortal Technique. In 2012, Everlast left the group before the release of their second album, Masters of the Dark Arts, which included production by DJ Premier and Statik Selektah and charted in the Top 40 of Billboard's Independent Albums and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
