La Chat

La Chat, the Memphis-born rapper, gained recognition through her affiliation with Hypnotize Minds and as part of Three 6 Mafia alongside Gangsta Boo. Making a guest appearance on Project Pat's hit song, "Chickenhead," in 2001, La Chat achieved Gold record status before departing from Hypnotize Minds post her debut album, "Murder She Spoke" (2001). She continued to release albums and mixtapes under different labels, garnering the Female Rap Artist of the Year award at the Knocdown-SCM Awards in 2010. In 2014, La Chat and Gangsta Boo collaborated on the EP "Witch."
