Born in Panama and raised in Hawaii, Keoki made his mark in New York City as one of its most flamboyant DJs after transitioning from a career in aviation. Following the success of his early mixtapes, he signed with Moonshine Music and released a string of mix albums, eventually venturing into his own production with the hit single "Caterpillar."

Keoki's career continued to evolve with the release of his debut album "Ego-Trip" in 1997, followed by various remix projects and additional mix LPs showcasing his diverse musical influences. Moving from New York to Southern California, Keoki maintained his innovative approach to music, releasing albums like "Djmixed.com" in 2000 and "Jealousy" in 2001, which featured remixes and unreleased tracks. Throughout his journey, Keoki remained ahead of the curve, earning a reputation as a boundary-pushing artist within the electronic music realm.
