Formed on October 10, 1981, in São Paulo, the rock band Ira! was founded by singer Nasi and guitarist Edgard Scandurra. Over its 43-year history, Ira! has released 15 albums, including hits like "Envelheço na cidade," "Dias de luta," and "Flores em você."
Ira! gained national success with albums such as "Vivendo e Não Aprendendo" (1986) and "Psicoacústica" (1988). In 2004, they released the acclaimed album "MTV Acústico Ira!" featuring collaborations with Samuel Rosa, Pitty, and Os Paralamas Do Sucesso. The band's current lineup, including Nasi, Edgard Scandurra, Johnny Boy Chaves, and Evaristo Pádua, released their latest studio album, "IRA," in June 2020. Additionally, Nasi and Edgard Scandurra perform acoustically as IRA! Folk, catering to more intimate venues.
