Biography

Industria del Amor, a California-based group formed in the late '80s, gained recognition in Mexico with a series of minor hits before achieving broader success in the early '90s as a soft-rock and Tejano ballad act. Despite a decline in singles popularity by the late '90s, the band's albums continued to chart, with notable releases like 2005's Si Te Perdiera incorporating Duranguense arrangements of classic Mexican songs. The group's enduring appeal was highlighted by the success of their greatest-hits compilations, 30 Inolvidables and 30 Inolvidables, Vol. 2, both reaching the Top 20 on the Latin charts in 2003.

Following a period of transition in the late 2000s, Industria del Amor signed with Discos America and released albums like Firmeza, 20 Grandes Exitos Con Mariachi, and 20 Aniversario, all of which made an impact on the Top Latin Albums chart. The band embarked on extensive tours across the United States, Mexico, and Latin America, showcasing their music to a wide audience. In 2017, Industria del Amor returned with a new single titled "Como le hago," marking their continued presence in the music scene through 2019-2020.
