High School Musical Cast

The High School Musical franchise, launched in early 2006, became a major success for Disney, garnering high TV ratings and strong record sales. The films starred Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman. The success of the franchise led to the release of albums by some of the cast members, including Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale. High School Musical 2 in 2007 and High School Musical 3 in 2008 continued the franchise's popularity, culminating in the release of High School Musical: The Collection in 2009.
