Gopi Sundar (born May 30, 1977) is an Indian actor, songwriter, and playback singer known for his work in film soundtracks. He owns the record label Gopi Sundar Music Company and the recording studio Sunsa Digital Workstation. Born in Kochi, India, he began his musical journey at a young age, learning tabla and keyboard. After dropping out of high school, he pursued music education in Chennai and started his career as a jingle composer and keyboard programmer. His breakthrough came with the score for the 2006 film Notebook, leading to collaborations with directors like Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed. His work on Ustad Hotel in 2012 garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards. Gopi Sundar continues to be a prominent figure in the Malayalam and Telugu film industries, composing music for films such as Charlie, Take Off, and Geetha Govindham.
