Luis Antonio López Flores was born on November 21, 1979, in Concordia, Sinaloa. Growing up as the third of four siblings to José Cruz López Salazar and Guadalupe Flores Rodríguez, his early passion for singing was evident to his community in Concordia. Despite facing challenges, including a school year lost due to burns from an accident during his primary education at Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez school, López Flores pursued his musical aspirations.
At the age of thirteen, while attending Venustiano Carranza secondary school, his dedication to singing led him to prioritize his musical pursuits over academics. Participating in various singing competitions and joining bands such as Banda Gallo, Original Banda Limón, and Banda Nueva Ilusión, he eventually realized his dream of becoming part of Banda El Recodo in 1998, where he dedicated eleven years to the renowned group under the guidance of the Lizárraga family, particularly Joel Lizárraga.
