Ektomorf, founded in 1994 by Zoltán "Zoli" Farkas in Hungary, incorporates groove metal, thrash, and Roma influences into their music. Known for their intense sound and dynamic live performances, the band gained recognition with albums like "Kalyi Jag" and "I Scream Up to the Sky" (2002).
Signing with Nuclear Blast led to the release of pivotal albums such as "Destroy" and "Outcast". Ektomorf further diversified their sound with ventures into acoustic territory on "The Acoustic" and returned to heavier tones with "Black Flag". The band's global presence expanded with the release of "Aggressor" (2015) and subsequent world tours, culminating in the chart-topping success of "Reborn" (2021).
