Huelinton and Udson's career was rooted in the circus, where they grew up watching their parents, clown Beijinho and singer, guitarist, and circus actress Helena. They made their debut in the circus at a young age. In 2001, Edson & Hudson gained nationwide popularity with the release of 'Acústico Edson & Hudson' and the hit song 'Azul'.
