David Crowder

Texas-based CCM artist David Crowder is known for his diverse fusion of pop, rock, folk, electronic, bluegrass, and hip-hop. Rising to fame in the early 2000s with the David Crowder Band, he garnered multiple Dove Awards for albums like Illuminate and Remedy. Rebranding as Crowder in 2012, he continued his success with solo albums like Neon Steeple and Milk & Honey, earning his first Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart-topper with "Good God Almighty."

Crowder's music journey began at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he noticed a lack of student engagement in church and started writing songs to draw them in. Forming the David Crowder Band, they released successful albums like A Collision and Church Music before disbanding in 2012. Crowder's solo career took off with hits like "Come as You Are" and collaborations with artists like Tauren Wells. Branching into various styles, his album I Know a Ghost showcased his versatility, leading to continued chart-topping success with Milk & Honey and The Exile.
