Daryle Singletary, a neo-traditionalist country singer from Cairo, Georgia, emerged in the mid-'90s with his raw vocals and sincere songwriting. After moving to Nashville, he gained recognition by performing at open-mike nights and demo singing, catching the attention of Randy Travis who helped him secure a record deal. Singletary's self-titled debut album in 1995 produced hits like "I Let Her Lie" and "Too Much Fun," followed by successful releases in subsequent years.

Despite a six-year hiatus, Singletary continued to perform live and returned to recording in 2015 with "There's Still a Little Country Left." His collaborative duets album with Rhonda Vincent, "American Grandstand," was released in 2017. Tragically, Singletary passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46 at his home in Lebanon, Tennessee on February 12, 2018, leaving behind a legacy of authentic country music.
