London-based music producer and DJ Matt Benyayer, known as Dark Sky, has been active in the music scene since 2011. With two albums on Monkeytown Records and numerous EPs on labels like 50 Weapons and Tectonic, he has also remixed artists such as the xx and Kelis. Beyond the studio, Matt has performed worldwide at festivals like Glastonbury and clubs like Berghain, while also composing for TV and film. Collaborating with Afriquoi, his track "Cold Harbour" was featured on Bonobo's Fabric mix compilation. In 2020, he released a mixtape on SoundCloud featuring new, unreleased Dark Sky material, with plans to focus on releasing standout tracks from the mix and launching a new record label in 2021.
