Dark Moor

Dark Moor, a prominent heavy metal band from Spain, was founded in 1994 by guitarist Enrik Garcia. They gained recognition with their debut album, Shadowland, released in 1999 under the Arise label, and continued to produce successful albums like The Hall of the Olden Dreams and The Gates of Oblivion. Despite lineup changes and creative differences leading to the departure of key members, Dark Moor maintained their signature power metal sound. The band persevered through challenges, including the loss of vocalist Elisa Martin, and recruited new members to carry on their musical journey, releasing albums like Beyond the Sea in 2005.

Dark Moor's fantasy-inspired power metal style drew comparisons to bands like Rhapsody and Blind Guardian, resonating with audiences in power metal strongholds such as Germany, Japan, and Brazil. The band's stable lineup saw shifts over the years, with Garcia and Kaddouri being the constants amidst changes in vocalists and other instrumentalists.
