Dark Dark Dark, a band hailing from Minneapolis, Louisiana, and New York, blends their roots in a poignant folk style. The sextet, featuring three pianists, shifted from a shaky start with The Snow Magic (2008) to finding their stride with Bright Bright Bright (2009) and Wild Go (2011), drawing inspiration from American minimalist classical music. Despite the split of Nona Marie Invie and Marshall LaCount, the group continued to evolve, reuniting in late 2012 for the release of Who Needs Who.
