Biography
After lineup changes and a hiatus, Dark Angel returned with drummer Gene Hoglan as a driving creative force and vocalist Ron Rinehart, releasing albums like "Leave Scars" in 1989 and "Time Does Not Heal" in 1991, showcasing a progression towards more complex songwriting. Despite critical acclaim for their technical thrash metal sound, the band disbanded in the early '90s, with Hoglan moving on to join Death. A compilation album, "Decade of Chaos," was released in 1992, solidifying Dark Angel's legacy in the thrash metal scene.
