Daniele Silvestri

Daniele Silvestri, a prominent figure in the Italian rock renaissance of the 1990s, is known for his socially conscious pop/rock music that showcases playful experimentation and strong songwriting. His sixth album, "Il Latitante" (2007), marked a breakthrough with a Top Five chart placement in Italy, driven by the success of the hit single "La Paranza." Born in Rome in 1968, the son of writer Albert Silvestri, he gained early recognition at the San Remo Festival and continued to build his career with acclaimed releases like "Prima di Essere un Uomo" and "Il Dado," featuring the fan-favorite "Cohiba."

Silvestri's career has been marked by a blend of musical success and social activism, including his participation in protests against Italian president Silvio Berlusconi.
