Drawing from his gospel choir background, Wilson's unique sound earned him the nickname "Little Luther" for his vocal resemblance to Luther Vandross. With a diverse musical palette, he gained recognition through self-produced recordings on SoundCloud, leading to the release of digital EPs like Young Rubbish and Boy Who Cried Thunder in 2014, followed by Sinner of the Week in 2016.
