Dani Martín, best known as the frontman of Spain's power pop group El Canto del Loco, successfully transitioned into a solo career after gaining fame as both a musician and actor. Born in Madrid in 1977, Martín's early entertainment career began with impersonations on TV and later led to the formation of El Canto del Loco in 1994, which became one of Spain's top pop/rock acts. Despite the band's success, Martín pursued acting roles in films like I Love You Baby and TV shows such as Hospital Central. After the band's hiatus in 2009, Martín released his debut solo album Pequeño in 2010, followed by a successful second album and extensive touring.
Martín's solo career continued to flourish with the release of his third album La Montaña Rusa in 2016, featuring the hit single "Las Ganas." His deeply personal and autobiographical music resonated with audiences in Spain and beyond, with his albums consistently reaching the top of the charts. Martín's ability to balance a successful music career alongside acclaimed acting roles demonstrated his versatility as a multi-talented artist, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the Spanish entertainment industry.
