Dan Auerbach

Dan Auerbach, known for his role as the frontman of the Black Keys and his solo work, is a prominent figure in the American roots music scene. Auerbach also leads the band the Arcs and has built a successful career as a producer, working with artists like Ray LaMontagne, Dr. John, and Lana Del Rey. Born in Wooster, Ohio in 1979, Auerbach's eclectic music upbringing led him to delve deep into the blues, eventually forming the Black Keys with drummer Patrick Carney in 2001.

Auerbach's diverse musical ventures include founding the Fast Five, collaborating with Damon Dash on BlakRoc, and releasing solo albums like Keep It Hid and Waiting on a Song. Branching into production, he has worked with various artists, including Reigning Sound, Dr. John, and Lana Del Rey. Auerbach's passion for the blues led him to establish the Easy Eye Sound label and studio in Nashville, where he continues to release music by both established and emerging artists, further cementing his influence in the music industry.
