Da-P, the son of a jazz musician, draws from diverse sonic influences rooted in his love for video game soundtracks and admiration for artists like Pharell and Timbaland. His relaxed approach to beatmaking results in smooth sounds that push boundaries. Alongside KAYTRANADA and High Klassified, Da-P played a key role in shaping Montreal’s music scene, garnering both local and international acclaim. Since joining Soulection in 2013, he has performed worldwide, collaborating with artists such as Jay Prince, Little Simz, and Smino. Da-P is currently working on a new project set for release in 2021.
