D-Block

The LOX members Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, and Styles P founded D-Block Records in Yonkers, NY, launching with Sheek's Walk Witt Me album in 2003. The label's roster, including J-Hood and Team Arliss, adopted the D-Block name for mixtapes and compilations, with their CD/DVD Mixtape charting in the Top 40 of R&B/Hip-Hop albums in 2006. D-Block's feud with 50 Cent's G-Unit and controversies with Beanie Sigel and Sean "Diddy" Combs over publishing rights were eventually resolved.
