Born in Sylvester and raised in Albany, Georgia, Cantrell discovered jam-skating as a creative outlet in his early years, eventually turning pro as a jam skater with the TBB crew. He delved into music during his teenage years, drawing inspiration from artists like Michael Jackson, Field Mob, OutKast, Eminem, Nirvana, and JAY-Z. Despite receiving a college football scholarship, Cantrell felt compelled to pursue music, leading to his success with ConverseΓÇÖs ΓÇ£Rubber TracksΓÇ¥ contest and subsequent performances at SXSW.
Cantrell's music caught the attention of MiSCHiEF BOY on Soundcloud, leading to a collaboration that resulted in the EP "Stardust 2 Angels." Signing with Nas' label, Mass Appeal Records, marked a new chapter for Cantrell, who released "Stardust 2 Angels" and "DEVIL NEVER EVEN LIVED" under the label. In 2020, Cantrell parted ways with the label and released "So, What Now?" on October 6th, 2020.
