Canadian Brass

Canadian Brass, formed in 1970, revolutionized the classical music scene by elevating brass instruments to a prominent position in performance. Comprising talented musicians like trumpeters Frederic Mills and Ronald Romm, French horn player David Ohanian, trombonist Eugene Watts, and tuba player Charles Daellenbach, the quintet's diverse repertoire ranging from Mozart to jazz played a crucial role in revitalizing the brass ensemble genre. Making history as the first Western chamber ensemble to tour China, Canadian Brass also performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Orchestra Hall in Chicago, and the Kennedy Center, while their numerous recordings further solidified their influence in the music industry.
