Caesars

Formed in 1995 in Sweden, Caesars, originally known as Caesar's Palace, gained recognition in America for their single "Jerk It Out," featured in an iPod commercial. The band, consisting of singer César Vidal, guitarist Joakim Ahlund, bassist David Lindqvist, and drummer Nino Keller, drew inspiration from garage rock bands like the Stones and the Sonics. Their debut EP, Shake It, released in 1995, showcased their raw, garagey sound influenced by early rock pioneers. With the release of their albums Youth Is Wasted on the Young and Cherry Kicks, the Caesars found success in Sweden, culminating in a Swedish Grammy win for Album of the Year with Love for the Streets in 2002.

Following their breakthrough, the Caesars gained international acclaim with the release of 39 Minutes of Bliss (In an Otherwise Meaningless World) in 2003, including the hit single "Jerk It Out." The band toured extensively and continued their success with the release of Paper Tigers in 2005, featuring the popular track prominently used in Apple iPod commercials. Caesars returned in 2008 with Strawberry Weed, a double album produced by Ebbot Lundberg, showcasing their evolution and enduring influence in the music industry.
