Baltimora

Baltimora was a new wave dance act from Milan, Italy, known for their 1985 hit single "Tarzan Boy." Formed in 1984 by Italian musician Maurizio Bassi and Northern Irish singer Jimmy McShane, the group gained popularity in the underground dance scene. "Tarzan Boy" became a major success in Europe and North America, propelling their debut album, Living in the Background. Despite releasing a second album in 1987, Baltimora disbanded shortly after. Controversy arose regarding McShane's vocal contributions, but the enduring legacy of "Tarzan Boy" solidified their place in '80s dance-pop history.
