Bally Sagoo, originally from New Delhi, gained recognition in Britain for his dynamic fusion of bhangra, hip-hop, and ragga music styles. Drawing from his Indian film music background, he introduced unique elements to his sound, notably showcased in his 1995 album "Bollywood Flashback." Known for his eclectic approach, Sagoo collaborated with Devissaro on projects like "Tongues Untied" for the Vivarta Festival in London, highlighting his versatility and potential. Signing with Columbia/Sony in 1994, he released "Rising from the East" in 1996 and "Soundtracks: For Your Life" in 1999, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the dance music scene.
