Biography

Bad Meets Evil is a hip-hop duo formed in 1998 by Marshall Mathers (Eminem) and Ryan Montgomery (Royce da 5'9") with the help of mutual friend, rapper Proof. After recording tracks and performing in Detroit, Eminem pursued a solo career, while Royce featured on Eminem's 1999 album. The group went on hiatus due to business conflicts but reunited in 2010 when Royce's group Slaughterhouse signed to Eminem's Shady label. Their debut EP, Hell: The Sequel, was released in 2011.
