Airbag, a prominent band in the Norwegian prog scene, emerged in Oslo in the mid-2000s, gaining recognition with their self-produced EPs that garnered a quarter of a million downloads within months. Signing with Karisma Records in 2008, their debut album "Identity" received critical acclaim, featuring the standout single "Colours."
Following lineup changes, Airbag continued to evolve with albums like "All Rights Removed" and "The Greatest Show on Earth," exploring darker themes in their music. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the band adapted by recording an acoustic set in Oslo, including new and classic tracks. With their upcoming 6th album, "The Century of the Self," set for release on June 14th, 2024, Airbag's musical journey continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
