Aidonia

Aidonia, born Sheldon Lawrence, is a dancehall deejay from Kingston, Jamaica, whose rapid, festive flow is influenced by '80s and '90s reggae. He began his music career after witnessing a clash between Beenie Man and Bounty Killer in 1993, eventually forming the crew J.A.G. 1. Aidonia's breakout hit, "Lolly," came in collaboration with producer Skatta, leading to a string of successful singles and albums released through labels like VP Records and Greensleeves Records. His discography includes projects like Then and Now (2007), Bolt Action mixtape (2009), One Voice (2013), and Project Sweat (2015), showcasing his versatility in the dancehall scene.

Aidonia's involvement in the music industry extends beyond his solo work, as he is a key member of J.O.P., a collective featuring artists such as Deablo, Shokryme, and Tanso. The group gained prominence in the early 2010s with hits like "All 14" and "Run Road."
