Los Angeles rapper Ahmad Ali Lewis gained fame in 1994 at the age of 18 with his hit "Back in the Day," showcasing the nostalgic essence of his South Central neighborhood. The success of the track led to his self-titled debut album achieving gold certification. Ahmad later ventured into jazz-rap with 4th Avenue Jones, released multiple albums, and explored personal development and songwriting.
