Agoraphobic Nosebleed, led by multi-instrumentalist Scott Hull, known for his work in Pig Destroyer and A.C., have been pushing the boundaries of grindcore since 1994. Their intense sound combines aggressive vocals, lightning-fast drum-machine beats, and Hull's expert guitar work, with most tracks lasting less than a minute. Lyrically, they delve into unconventional themes such as apocalyptic theories, societal issues, and dark humor, delivered in a cryptic and unorthodox manner.
After several EPs and lineup changes, Agoraphobic Nosebleed released their debut full-length album "Honky Reduction" in 1998, followed by collaborations with bands like Converge. Their second album, "Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope," arrived in 2002, featuring a solid lineup including vocalists Jay Randall, Carl Schultz, and Richard Johnson, along with guest appearances from prominent figures in the metal scene.
