Ages and Ages, formed in 2008 by Tim Perry after the breakup of his band Pseudosix, blend pastoral, psychedelic sounds with sunshiny vocal harmonies. Their music, starting with 2011's Alright You Restless and continuing through albums like 2016's Something to Ruin and 2019's Me You They We, maintains an uplifting tone while addressing economic and sociopolitical unrest. Following lineup changes and personal tragedies, Ages and Ages regrouped to release their sophomore album, Divisionary in 2014, under Partisan Records.
