Formed in the late 1980s by Indianapolis natives Kevon and Melvin Edmonds along with Keith Mitchell, R&B vocal group After 7 quickly rose to fame with their platinum self-titled debut album in 1989, featuring hits like "Ready or Not" and "Can't Stop" produced by Babyface and L.A. Reid. Their subsequent albums Takin' My Time (1992) and Reflections (1995) continued their success with gold certifications and chart-topping singles. After a hiatus, the group returned in the mid-2000s and released Timeless in 2016, followed by Unfinished Business in 2021, showcasing their enduring collaboration with Babyface.
