Formed in 2001 by Baylor University students Jenny Chisolm and Ryan Simmons, Addison Road quickly established themselves as a quintet with bassist Travis Lawrence, drummer Jeff Sutton, and guitarist Ryan Gregg. After relocating to Dallas post-graduation, the band focused on refining their songwriting skills and leading worship at a local church. Following the success of their independent releases, Addison Road signed with INO Records in 2007, releasing their self-titled debut album the following year, which featured the hit single "All That Matters." Their second album, Stories, arrived in 2010, solidifying their place in the Christian pop/rock scene.
