Darbuka Siva, born on March 13, 1982 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is an Indian film composer, actor, and director known for blending Indian traditions with global influences in his music. Starting with his band Oikyotaan in 2000, Siva's musical journey evolved as he explored percussion instruments like congas, djembe, timbales, and udu. His career took off in Bollywood in 2015, with notable projects like starring in the film Rajathandhiram and composing for Kidaari. Siva continued to make his mark in the industry by composing soundtracks for films such as Balle Vellaiyathevaa, Nimir, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, and Rocky. In 2021, he made his directorial debut with the film Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee, for which he also composed the soundtrack.
