Abby the Spoon Lady

Abby the Spoon Lady is a rare professional spoon player in the US, having busked for over a decade. She honed her skills while traveling on foot and by rail, studying American folk percussion and music. Abby is now an acclaimed percussionist and storyteller, performing at festivals, venues, and on sidewalks worldwide. Her work can also be seen in horror and short films, as well as documentaries like Nashville 2012, Fiddlin’, and Buskin’ Blues, which spotlight Asheville, NC's renowned street performing scene.
