Aaron Goldberg

Aaron Goldberg is a sophisticated jazz pianist known for his harmonically advanced aesthetic and creative improvisation. He gained prominence in the early 2000s as part of saxophonist Joshua Redman's band before releasing acclaimed solo albums like Worlds and Home. Born in Boston in 1974, Goldberg honed his skills at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and later graduated from Harvard with a degree in history and science. He has collaborated with notable musicians like Reuben Rogers, Eric Harland, and Kurt Rosenwinkel, and is a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

Following his academic pursuits, Goldberg released albums like Home and The Now with his trio, featuring musicians such as Mark Turner and Reuben Rogers. In 2018, he debuted a new trio project, At the Edge of the World, showcasing his continued evolution as a versatile and innovative musician.
