A Great Big Pile of Leaves, originating from Brooklyn, delivers 90ΓÇÖs-inspired indie-rock that strikes a balance between intellectual depth and catchy appeal. Formed in 2007 by Pete Weiland and Tyler Soucy, the band later welcomed Tucker Yaro, transitioning into a trio. They made waves with their self-produced debut album 'Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortex?' in 2010, initially distributed for free on their website. Transitioning to Topshelf Records in 2013, the band released their well-received sophomore LP 'YouΓÇÖre Always on My Mind,' produced by Ed Ackerson and praised by various notable music publications.
Their latest album 'Pono,' crafted by the band themselves and recorded at their personal studio, underwent mixing by touring guitarist Matthew Weber at Gradwell House Recording and mastering by Dave Downham.
