In 2005, European dance act D.H.T. gained traction in the American music scene with their single "Listen to Your Heart," released by Robbins Entertainment. The Belgium-based duo, comprised of singer Edmee Daenen and DJ Da Rick, captured audiences with their energetic blend of Hi-NRG/Euro-dance rhythms and emotive vocals. The glossy remake of Roxette's hit song was particularly noteworthy, propelling D.H.T. to Top 40 success in various markets by May 2005. Prior to this breakthrough, D.H.T. had released a Euro-dance cover of Sniff 'n' the Tears' "Driver's Seat" under the moniker Dared.
