Canopia is a progressive rock band from Auckland, New Zealand, consisting of Dale Simpson (guitarist and backing vocalist) and Ash Hare (bass guitar and lead vocalist). Formed in the early 2000s, the duo collaborated with musicians Stephen Small, Sammy Davis, Phoenix Simpson, and Dave Rhodes on their latest album, Canopia II. Their sound is influenced by bands like Pink Floyd, Genesis, Marillion, Rush, Foo Fighters, as well as artists such as Sting and Peter Gabriel.
