Andrae is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, pianist, and vocalist with a background in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy Band. An internationally recognized musician and clinician, Andrae has traveled to over 40 countries and has worked on projects such as Empire, Detroit, and The Birth of a Nation soundtrack. He has collaborated with a range of artists including Kanye West, NeYo, and Swae Lee, and currently teaches at USC on topics such as Music Business and Music Production.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Music, a Master of Arts in Music Industry Administration, and ongoing PhD studies, Andrae is a dedicated faculty member at USC's Thornton School of Music. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors, utilizing music as a tool for social rehabilitation in underserved communities and advocating for music education in schools.
