Formed in Montreal, QC in October 2008, AA Meeting originally began as an acoustic duo consisting of Alex Nellis and Adam Clarke, who quickly developed a unique Funk n' Punk songwriting style. After recruiting Jason Bradley on drums and Mathieu LaBerge on bass, the band recorded a 2010 demo called "Apartment 35" and performed live extensively before taking a 7-year hiatus.

Inspired by Gord Downie's cancer diagnosis, three original members of AA Meeting reunited and welcomed new drummer Carney Woods to the lineup. The band, now crafting new material in both English and French, released the EP "Chapter II" and have been actively promoting it through DIY shows across Canada, showcasing their original bilingual songs.
