Madiza, formerly known as Luzuko, was born in King Williams Town, where his love for music was sparked by artists like DMX and Tupac. Inspired by local talents such as A-Reece and 25K, he began recording music in the Eastern Cape and was given the name Madiza for his insightful thinking and leadership qualities. After moving to Cape Town following his grandmother's passing, Madiza embraced life in Masiphumelele and is now preparing to release an EP titled "THE VOICE," reflecting on his experiences in the township and his journey to becoming a voice for others in the rap scene.
