Singer/songwriter Andrea Ambrosini chose the name A-Yǔ for his solo project on September 3, 2022 while sitting by Daylesford Lake with artist Xing Yu Li. Yǔ, meaning rain in Chinese, symbolizes a free mind for Andrea, and the homonym connection to Pink Floyd's "Hey You" added to his inspiration. A-Yǔ represents facing fears, creating new possibilities, and connecting with others who share similar emotions. In his debut release, "Curtain Call," Andrea collaborates with producer Andrea Tripodi and visual artist Xing Yu Li to capture moments of pain, uncertainty, and freedom.
