Hailing from Limerick, Ireland, A Weekend Away is a prominent five-piece blues/rock band established in 2013. Following their victory in the UL Battle of the Bands in 2016, the band released their self-titled EP, featuring the emotionally stirring track "Phone Home," lauded by Indiebuddie as a tearjerker.

Thriving on their well-received EP tour across Ireland in the summer of 2017, A Weekend Away captivated audiences in Cork, Limerick, Kerry, and Waterford. Currently, the band is fully immersed in crafting their debut album set for a 2018 release, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey.
